Installed.
The mount for No Brakes is a series of components including an expansion wall anchor, steel bracket, coupling nut, silicon cylinder, nylon cylinder, stainless steel washer, heat-shrink tubing, and a nice long socket head cap screw. The frame is held in place by compression of the silicone tube on the inner walls of the bottom bracket. Sweet.
The silicone expansion concept worked well given all the elements of the No Brakes equation, but there are tolerance issues that leave room for improvement. We are now in the process of further internal development of the mount which utilizes an expansion sleeve and gear driven cam in hopes of better resolving small variance issues with the change in internal diameter of English vs. Italian bottom brackets.
It was a wild race against the clock to install the mounts and help the guys at No Brakes get ready for their re-opening the very next day.
